Portman Asset Finance provides a range of commercial finance products to companies nationwide. The firm was established in 2007 and since then has helped to grow thousands of UK businesses, from gyms and restaurants, to building firms and trampoline parks.

Our work with Portman.

 

Portman Asset Finance approached Kenny & Sons in November 2016 with a view to overhauling the company’s existing   branding and website. There was a clear goal set out- bring the brand up to date with the competition, and build a website that generates leads.

Over the first few months, we worked closely with the directors of the business to craft a new image for the Northampton based brokerage. We overhauled the company’s entire library of marketing collateral and introduced a number of new channels, such as email marketing.

In addition to creating a new brand identity for Portman, we also created fifteen sub-brands for the company that they would use when targeting different sectors, such as catering, leisure and construction. These subrands were closely tied to the main brand.

A full suite of printed marketing material was designed for each subrand- consisting of direct marketing packs, business cards and office supplies.

Director of Kenny & Sons, James Kenny said, “The task of rebranding Portman and then developing so many sub-brands was no easy task. We were conscious that not only did each sub-brand need to feel familiar to it’s target audience, but it would also need to tie in to the main Portman brand and fit alongside every other sub-brand!”

Once the branding was completed, we set to work on building a new website for the company and after three months, the site went live. We put numerous tracking applications in place, to keep an eye on how the website performed and recorded how visitors were interacting with each page. These recordings and details heatmaps enabled us to fine tune the website over the next few months to the point were we had increased conversions by a staggering 320%. The website now generates in excess of 500 leads per month for Portman.

Our ongoing work with Portman sees us creating high quality video content, such as case studies and animated explainers each month that are used as sales aids and published across the company’s social media channels and website.
